Dear Parents,
The Socceroos created a sensation, by qualifying for the round of 16 of the World Cup yesterday in Doha, Qatar 2022. After a hard fought victory against Denmark, many Socceroos supporters were able to let their joy burst despite the timezone difference with Qatar. It was indeed 3am when Matt Beckie opened the score for the Socceroos.
Not many people imagined Australia could make it to the Round of 16, in a challenging group including Tunisia, surprise winner against France in the other match of Group D. We are looking forward with anticipation to the next game against Leo Messi’s Argentina on Sunday December 4th at 6am.

Back to the training grounds, we completed our Saturday morning Mini Soccer last Saturday after 10 weeks of fun and competitive games. An amazing experience for all the players and their families. We look forward to continuing next term.
After a very successful term of football development, we enter into the final week of training next week.
Players will have a full day of training on Monday followed by their end of year Pizza Party on Wednesday.
Remember to join us Wednesday December 7th at the Wilis Sports Centre to celebrate the end of another fantastic year.

Cheers

Cyrille
