Mongo FC U6
Registration is now open for our U6 team competition in the NSFA Mini Roos competition.
Places are available for players born on 2015.
Parents are encouraged to register their child for a position early as places are limited to 10 players.
Players will train once a week on Monday or Wednesday in Castle Cove
A paid coach will be provided for the team.

Suitable for players aged 9-10 years, with a desire to develop and enhance their individual skills, balance and coordination. The focus is in enhancing the individual technical ability of the player with a slow introduction to the collective play concept.

The main focus is yet again to encourage the enjoyment of the game at this discovery phase. Players are provided with support at training and games through paid coaching. Participating players will have to purchase a black Mongo Lion Kit from the shop.

Academy 11-12 Yrs
The Academy program is a progression from the Advanced Pre Academy program. Suitable for players aged 11-12 years, this program introduces players to the basic discovery aspect of the game. In line with a clear philosophy and style of play, players are challenged and encouraged to use the skills developed during the skills acquisition phase to find meaningful game solutions while developing their game intelligence and understanding in the process. Players are introduced to 3 training sessions per week + a weekend game. Each player will have to purchase a red and black Mongo Football Lion kit for training and games.

Academy 13-16 Yrs
The Academy program is a progression from the game discovery Academy program. Suitable for players aged 13-16 years, this program introduces players to the advanced discovery aspect of the game. In line with a clear philosophy and style of play, players are challenged and encouraged to use the skills developed during the skills acquisition phase to find meaningful game solutions while developing their game intelligence and understanding in the process. We touch into the early stages of strength and conditioning with a focus on the psychological development of our players. Players are introduced to 3 training sessions per week + a weekend game. Each player will have to purchase a red and black Mongo Football Lion kit for training and games.
