Dear Parents,
The World Cup is nearly here. The leagues have stopped.  The players have arrived and technical teams are  fine tuning strategies. Yet even as the teams know where they are meant to be and who they are meant to play, there are still plenty of questions about how things will unfold as football moves center stage over the month in Doha Qatar. Qatar 2022 will also be the passing of the guard for as the world farewells the likes of Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar and discovers the next generation of super stars such as Pedri, Gavi, Moukoko etc.
Definitely an exciting month of football ahead of us. I can’t wait to see the action unfold!
Back to training, players had a very strong week of training with greater emphasis on agility and coordination. We also continued to work on improving decision making, touch and game intelligence with fun and challenging activities.
The response from players was very encouraging as they continue to push themselves outside their comfort zone making the most of the environment, values and culture created around them.

See you on the field.
