continue to provide more football development experiences to our players. The 2 day April holiday clinic provided players with the opportunity to discover, learn some new skills and polish their touch. We then headed to Melbourne where our Academy and Advanced Academy players competed valiantly against some very good oppositions over 4 days in very challenging conditions. From Melbourne it was time to head to Cains where our Pre Academy and Academy players competed in the FNQ Youth Cup. A fantastic introduction to our football travel program to some of our players and parent’s who were on their 1st ever tournament with Mongo Football. A lot of fun and great memories that will no doubt help support our player’s enthusiasm and love for the game in the long term.
A massive thank you to all our managers and coaches for the time invested in making these events memorable for players and families alike.
Thank you to our loyal and dedicated team of parents supporters. The players appreciate your support.
The winter season competition kicks off this weekend with our U7’s, 13 & 14s playing their first games of the season. The rest of the teams will be playing in round 2. Please make sure we continue to respect the values and policies of the club by allowing players to play freely without parent’s instructions or interference from the sidelines.
We have a couple of places open in our U10 & U12 Super League teams. If you know of any players out there who would like an opportunity to play Super League, please let us know.
See you on the field.
